vimeo feature

Well you’d never guess it. April 1st, 2011 brought an interesting surprise to SEAT members as the Thermals video produced on the wall at Cal Anderson as part 1 of Wallrus ended up as a featured video on the new iPhone Vimeo app screenshots. The play count went through the roof and director Clyde Petersen wondered if it was an April Fools joke from Vimeo. But two weeks later, it’s still there. It’s everywhere. How nice. If you haven’t seen the video yet, check it out now!

Ruthann Friedman, has been around since the real 60's & is best known for the hit song Windy (everyone knows it's….). She and Ryan Fuller (Fort King) have a folk alliance in LA, and are up in Seattle paying us a sonic visit for a few days. Ryan's a beautiful singer songwriter who sings about finding arrowheads in the sand amongst other dreamy subjects, and he is composing a live score to Gruber's animated performance piece Both Worlds. Psychic Portraiture is also woven into this magical Monday evening at Rendezvous April 4th, 8pm

The talented actors and animators from the Nova Project are launching off a wonderful multimedia theater piece this weekend. The Nova Animation Lab has been transformed into a oceanic set, and the talent has poured months of work into a very entertaining show. Directed by and animation effects by Stefan Gruber. This weekend only.

Its finally out! The first movie from Wallrus is here! Watch it about! It premiered on Stereogum today! What a wonderful treat.
